Ben had the following issue at EMT:
Currently some of our clients are experiencing the the following time out error messages when trying to refresh in smart view 220.127.116.11.310:
"The request timed out. Contact your administrator to increase NetRetryCount and NetRetryInterval"
Now I have applied the standard fix whereby I increase the receive timeout, keepalive and server info timeout registry settings on the client machine and this has made no difference.
Are there any additional changes that can be made to the time out to reslove this issue?
The resolution was:
The clients currently have IE 9.
In addition the registry changes I applied were the following:
ReceiveTimeout = 480000
KeepAliveTimeout = 180000
ServerInfoTimeout = 180000
All DWORD registry set to decimals
Yes I rebooted the machines.
The above solution was done on client PCs and needed to be done when logged on as the user rather than the administrator.
