When attempting to connect to Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) using SmartView the user receives the error:
"The request timed out. Contact your administrator to increase netRetryCount and netRetryInterval."
The web browser was upgraded to Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher.This issue occurred because of a time-out limit introduced by Microsoft in Internet Explorer 7. By default this is set to 1 minute. In previous versions it was 60 minutes.
Increase the default time-out value for persistent HTTP connections in Internet Explorer.
To change the default time-out value, follow these steps:
